Extreme Heat & Crop Stress

In Southwestern Ontario, we are experiencing extreme temperatures this week. These high temperatures negatively impact photosynthesis and respiration, which results in the loss of your plant’s ability to function or grow normally.
In corn and soybeans, it is estimated that > 65% of yield loss is due to abiotic stress factors (drought or heat) compared to < 10% yield loss that is associated with biotic factors (weeds, insects, disease).

BioLiNE Fulvic Acids
Our products can be applied as a foliar application or through irrigation, alone or in combination with other crop inputs. Add 500-750mL of BioLiNE fulvic acids to your post-emergence tank mix during this high-temperature period. Our fulvic supports plants through heat and drought stress in several ways:
🌱 Maintains the relative leaf water content and enhances nutrient support – keeps plants balanced and functioning normally
🌱 Increases carbon dioxide assimilation rate – supports photosynthesis and crop growth
🌱 Improves water use efficiency (both irrigated or non-irrigated) – makes limited water go further within the plant
🌱 Maintains electrochemical balance – prevents buildup of potentially toxic heavy metals
🌱 Opens stomates – maintains evapotranspiration to “cool” the plant down
🌱 Increases antioxidant enzymes – improves the plant’s ability to defend against destructive reactive oxidative species (ROS)
