Dados os efeitos da seca e do calor sazonais globais, s\u00e3o duas formas comuns de stress abi\u00f3tico que muitos agricultores se preocupam em reduzir o rendimento e a qualidade das suas colheitas. Felizmente, as plantas desenvolveram defesas naturais contra o calor sazonal e o stress da seca. A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o foliar de \u00e1cidos f\u00falvicos pouco tempo ap\u00f3s o in\u00edcio do calor e do stress da seca demonstrou atenuar alguns danos, refor\u00e7ando as defesas naturais das culturas atrav\u00e9s de v\u00e1rios modos de ac\u00e7\u00e3o, acabando por ajudar a sua cultura a suportar o stress. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-fulvic-acid-help-with-drought-and-heat-stress\">Como \u00e9 que o \u00e1cido f\u00falvico ajuda com a seca e o stress t\u00e9rmico?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>O crescimento e o rendimento das culturas s\u00e3o negativamente afectados pelo calor e pela seca devido a danos f\u00edsicos, perturba\u00e7\u00f5es fisiol\u00f3gicas, e altera\u00e7\u00f5es bioqu\u00edmicas. As culturas respondem ao calor e ao stress da seca atrav\u00e9s de processos metab\u00f3licos que alteram as concentra\u00e7\u00f5es de a\u00e7\u00facares sol\u00faveis, prolina, prote\u00ednas sol\u00faveis, e aumentam os n\u00edveis de poliaminas, capacidade antioxidante, composto fen\u00f3lico e \u00e1cido absc\u00edsico (ABA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foi demonstrado que o \u00e1cido f\u00falvico melhora os danos causados pelo calor e pela seca atrav\u00e9s do refor\u00e7o das defesas naturais das culturas. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o tem demonstrado que o tratamento com \u00e1cido f\u00falvico ajuda a aumentar o teor relativo de \u00e1gua nas folhas e a melhorar o transporte de nutrientes. A melhoria da efici\u00eancia da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1gua e da assimila\u00e7\u00e3o de nutrientes das culturas \u00e9 apenas uma parte da resposta ao stress da seca, refor\u00e7ada pelos \u00e1cidos f\u00falvicos. As esp\u00e9cies reactivas de oxig\u00e9nio (ROS) libertam o caos sobre as plantas que sofrem de stress t\u00e9rmico e de seca. O stress oxidativo causado pelas ROS ataca os l\u00edpidos da membrana causando peroxida\u00e7\u00e3o, desligando as enzimas metab\u00f3licas, e eventualmente matando as c\u00e9lulas. As plantas produzem antioxidantes (enzimas necr\u00f3fagas de ROS) para se defenderem contra o stress oxidativo causado pela seca. A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o foliar de \u00e1cido f\u00falvico em culturas que sofrem de stress de seca aumenta a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de enzimas antioxidantes. Ao proteger o aparelho fotossint\u00e9tico, e ajudando a manter o equil\u00edbrio entre a s\u00edntese e a destrui\u00e7\u00e3o de ROS, o \u00e1cido f\u00falvico melhora o calor e a toler\u00e2ncia \u00e0 seca das culturas, levando a melhorias no crescimento e na produ\u00e7\u00e3o.
